Why We Built Groforma

Groforma was built by people who have worked inside real estate, finance, prop tech, and policy, and saw the same pattern repeat: 

Good projects fail to move forward not because they’re bad ideas, but because the process is too fragmented, too slow, and too opaque for small teams to survive. 

We built Groforma to close that gap.

Rachel Wilka

Rachel is an experienced leader with a background in technology and real estate. She has spent her career helping complex systems work better for the people most impacted by them, most recently supporting large-scale housing platforms and mission-driven development teams. As co-founder and CEO of Groforma, Rachel brings legal rigor, systems thinking, and a values-driven approach to building tools that expand access to development, ownership, and long-term community stability.

Rob Britton

Rob is a seasoned strategist with a background in finance, operations, and scaling early-stage ventures. At Groforma, Rob focuses on operations, capital strategy, and building the financial and organizational infrastructure that allows community-led development to succeed at scale.
